We'd love the opportunity to speak with you to learn more and make things right - even if that means a refund of any charges. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us at info@datadoctors.com with your name and any other details that might help us locate your service ticket, or give us a call at 480-921-2444. We use many tools during our evaluation/diagnostics, including Malwarebytes (that you specifically mentioned) and other similar tools to ensure we are being thorough, so we'd love to dig into your issue to see what we can learn. Again, sorry for any inconvenience, and we look forward to speaking with you to hopefully resolve this issue.
failed repair service resulted in unnecessary charges for the customer

Ken, Thank you for sharing your experience β this is exactly the kind of feedback we need to hear. While our technicians found and removed 20 infections, several browser extensions, and unwanted software during your visit, we clearly didn't verify that your original search redirect issue was fully resolved before you left. That's on us, and we're sorry for the frustration of requiring a second trip. We're glad the Chrome reinstall ultimately fixed it. We're using this as an opportunity to tighten our checkout process so we confirm the reported symptom is gone before a computer leaves our hands. We will reach out to you soon to see how we can make this right.

I'm sorry to hear that you felt our repair costs were higher than expected. We always aim to provide clear and honest quotes based on the work needed. It's unfortunate that we couldn't meet your budget this time, but we appreciate your feedback. We hope you'll give us another chance in the future. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Jane, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with your appointment today. We understand your frustration and regret that we did not meet your expectations. It is clear that we made a mistake by confusing your request with another, leading to the "no show" situation you described. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take full responsibility for the error and are committed to making it right. We will reach out to you and see if there's anything we can do.

Daniel, We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience. With that being said, it does seem as though there is some confusion regarding the results of the evaluation. We did not use your anti-virus to detect threats assuming you had already done that prior to your visit. We used other anti-virus scans and detected 13 different threats which include malware as well as viruses on your computer. The tools we used were paid antivirus tools which are typically more proactive about identifying threats when compared against free products, which you are using. We hope you reconsider addressing those issues with a more robust tool than you are using to avoid any issues. We would be happy to help if you change your mind.
